The passive subwoofer that can play the loudest and lowest whilst remaining easy to install into a wall or ceiling.
Using a Distributed Transmission Line design with an array of 4″ drivers, the ALF120 packs a punch while staying incredibly slim. At only 118mm thin and 345mm wide, it is designed to fit into a cavity wall or ceiling.
Requiring a DSP amplifier (or suitable system processor), the ALF120 can play down to 27Hz at 111dB at 1m from just 50W. This makes the subwoofer perfect for great music systems but also media rooms and home theatres.
The Mobius7i incorporates OptiDamping, OptiDrive and Reduced-Resonance Exciter technology. This gives smooth high frequency extension, high power handling and improved low frequency performance.
Due to the vast range of installation options available for Mobius speakers, it is important to check fitting requirements prior to ordering.
The Amina Edge7i offers smooth low frequency extension with increased power handling and sensitivity, resulting in a dynamic and engaging listening experience that has never before been heard from an invisible loudspeaker. Further building on the award-winning Edge7 loudspeaker design, the Edge7i incorporates brand new Excelsior class high frequency drivers as well as Amina’s OptiDamping, OptiDrive, Reduced-Resonance Exciter technology and the new patented ToneRelief panel technology all built into a plaster up-to design
The speaker uses a high quality fire-resistant panel material which allows for seamless integration into plasterboard walls and ceilings without the need for a full wet skim, all in the easy to install, lightweight form-factor that Amina is known for.
Plaster up-to refers to the installation method and how the loudspeaker becomes invisible once installed. Edge speakers are installed much like a section of tapered-edge plasterboard, with the perimeter filled, taped and then fully painted over. When installed in this way, the loudspeaker becomes fully invisible, much like our plaster-over loudspeakers, but without the requirement for a full wet plaster skim.
The Amina Edge5i offers smooth low frequency extension and increased low-mid performance, resulting in a dynamic and engaging listening experience that has never before been heard from an invisible loudspeaker. Building on the groundbreaking performance of the Edge5 loudspeaker, the Edge5i features brand new Excelsior class high frequency drivers as well as Amina’s OptiDamping, OptiDrive, Reduced-Resonance Exciter technology and the new patented ToneRelief panel technology all built into a plaster up-to design.
Note: The ‘i’ upgrade to the Edge5 includes a change of impedance for the Edge5i, which is now rated at a more efficient 4ohms.
Edge Series speakers are designed to be installed into walls and ceilings where there is to be no wet plaster skim, however it is still possible to install the speaker where there are such finishes, but please note that you will need to install the speaker post-plastering and use alignment shims to achieve the correct finish.
MobiusDual provides a single-panel dual-channel solution for where there is insufficient space for a pair of loudspeakers, but stereo sound reproduction is still required. With two discrete inputs, the loudspeaker produces both left and right channels from the same panel.
While the MobiusDual provides reproduction of both left and right stereo channels, there is minimal stereo separation or image. Another alternative to using a single-panel dual-channel speaker is to use a single mono speaker, fed by a mono-summed signal (mono-summing is usually done at source or within a preamp, audio matrix or processor).
The Mobius5i incorporates OptiDamping, OptiDrive and Reduced-Resonance Exciter technology to give the smooth high frequency extension and low frequency performance, with medium power-handling capabilities.
Although Mobius loudspeakers provide low frequency performance suitable for background music, for a full-range invisible sound solution, consider specifying an Amina discreet subwoofer for smooth and powerful low frequency extension.
A high tack, doubled sided acrylic film adhesive applied to the Amina Evolution, AIWX, Lfi and iQ series of invisible loudspeakers to allow them to be installed behind thin sections of timber, MDF, wood veneers, high pressure laminates, acrylic, leathers and other similar material. The Amina wood film adhesive allows the creation of high performance sound reproduction solutions within furniture and panelled structures.
For use when there is insufficient cavity space for an Amina cavity backbox (less than 75mm). Allows installation of Amina loudspeakers into plasterboard with a rear cavity depth of just 30mm – Please note, rear of loudspeaker should be covered using soft insulation material where mounting blocks are used to prevent ingress of debris over time.
The Amina Technologies Firehoods by Hoody™ are designed to provide installers with a 60 minute fire protection and acoustic insulation solution on projects where building regulations require this. They are available in three sizes for compatibility with all Evolution Series, iQ and LFieT Series speakers. They provide sufficient space for Amina CV back boxes to be used thus maintaining optimum sound quality and reduced sound transmission in plasterboard installations. Fire Tested to BS EN 1363-1: 2012 in various ceiling and floor constructions. Acoustic Complies with Document B and E (acoustic requirements) of UK Building Regulations and meets the revised 17th Edition IEE regulations.
Rayno sits on the board of Directors as a shareholder. He has been with the company since 2003, originally working as an employee in the position of Sales Manager.
